I didn’t even really wanna run today, it was hard to get myself to go to the gym and I assumed I would just run for about 5 minutes and move to my lift. But for some reason I felt great while running, so I kept going. Something I’m starting to realize is the benefit of music. For me, it’s less about the exact rhythm, but more a song that’s fast-ish paced that I enjoy. If I can focus on the music instead of the running, the distance just happens. So today I ran 1.3 miles, my longest distance yet.
