March 30 — Beyond Shocked (6 Miles ??!?!?!?!?)

6.1 mile run today, wow. By far my longest ever run. Ran it outdoors. Great running weather honestly, slightly cold and very dewy, but it kept me from getting too hot. I set out today unsure how much I was going to run. I was thinking at least three, maybe 3.5 miles, but I didn’t set out going for my longest run. But then I settled into my pace and decided I’d go for 4+ miles, depending on how I was feeling. Once I hit 3.5 I felt like I could probably go 6, so I decided to. Honestly, my leg is a non-factor now. No idea if I have a bit of a limp when I run, I’d guess slightly, but I don’t feel any pain or feel limited by it, which is awesome. Now it’s all just a stamina and endurance game. I’m still running on the slower side, even my new 10 minute mile warmup is fairly slow for running. But I’d rather build up stamina than speed anyhow, and I’m sure eventually the speed will come.
